Hi Rebecca! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
You can absolutely link together with friends or family for a day or two. It's a great way to book those
Lightning Lane Multi Pass return times together as a group. When I'm visiting and a local friend meets up with us for the day, we link our tickets for this purpose. I can walk you through how to link tickets using the
Disneyland mobile app. You'll need your ticket ID numbers handy, so be ready with those. They should be in the e-mail purchase confirmation.
On the app, tap the three-bar menu on the bottom right side. This will bring up a series of tiles, and you want to select "My Tickets & Passes." On the next screen, you should see the option to "Link Tickets & Passes" or a "+." Tap either one to start linking a ticket to your account. You can scan the ticket's barcode or QR code using your mobile device's camera or manually enter the ticket ID number from the e-mail. If you're going with the manual entry, tap "Type ID." You'll enter the ticket ID in the "ID Number" box and tap "Link Media" to link a ticket. Repeat this process with each ticket you'd like to link for a few days.
It's also possible to unlink a ticket. You'll do this in the app as well. Under "My Tickets & Passes" scroll until you see the ticket you want to unlink. "Remover This Ticket" should be an option. If you don't see it and need to unlink a ticket, please call the
Tickets phone line for assistance. A friendly Cast Member should be able to assist you.
You'll love spending less time waiting in queues with Lighting Lane Multi Pass. We always choose this option as a family. If you arrive early to the parks, you'll get more value out of this time-saver. Remember if you scan into a Lightning Lane Multi Pass entrance, you can book your next return time, or you can book again after two hours, whichever comes first.
Have a magical time!
Elizabeth
