We have park hopper & tickets for 6 days. Should we use FP for EMH then go to a different park or is best to stay put in 1 park? If we use FP in AK for 1 atttraction & then go to Epcot can we still use FP that remains?

    Hi there Rhonda!

I'm so excited to assist you with this question! I love coming up with different strategies on how to best utilize the Disney FastPass+ service.  I would not personally recommend using your 3 FastPass+ selections first thing in the morning. I have found that the lines are much shorter right at park opening and start increasing by mid-morning. When I do park hop, I always book our FastPass+ selections for the second park that we will be visiting on that day. If you plan to park hop, you must book your 3 initial FastPass+ selections for the same park which is why I have found using the Standby entrance for the first park and utilizing my FastPass+ selections in the second park works best. When I do stay put in the same park all day, I usually plan our 3 FastPass+ selections around meals and whether we will go back to our room for an afternoon break. My preference is to book all of my FastPass+ selections for afternoon or early evening. In doing so, we can often ride our favorite attractions twice in one day.  We will ride our top picks early in the morning via the Standby entrance and later in the day via FastPass+.  This strategy also allows us to get many of the most popular attractions out of the way when the lines are much shorter and then save our FastPass+ selections for when the park is more crowded.

In regards to park hopping, I have taken advantage of Morning Extra Magic Hour and then hopped to a different park and have also stayed in that same park all day. You may want to determine if a full day is warranted in that particular park when making your decision.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please don't hesitate to visit me again if you have any additional questions that I can assist you with. Best wishes for a magical trip, Rhonda!
