Hi there, Wendy, and welcome to planDisney!
By having a theme park ticket with a
Park Hopper option, it feels like the entire kingdom is yours. Hopping from theme park to theme park is exhilarating, and it's one of my favorite ways to experience as much as I can in one day. Let's dive into what exactly that day could look like.
You can absolutely park hop from one theme park to the next--and return to one that you've already visited if you'd like. Woohoo! You'll want to tap into the Mickey-shaped turnstile at your reserved/pre-selected theme park. Once you've done that, you're free to hop until you want to stop.
Now, if a theme park has reached capacity for the day, then you will not be able to park hop there. In my experience, this mostly happens for Magic Kingdom Park. But it really is a rare occurrence.
Your example of starting the day at EPCOT (perhaps to ride the most ah-mazing
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind), hopping over to Magic Kingdom Park via the Disney Monorail, and returning for a nice dinner at EPCOT is a fantastic plan. I just know that you are going to have the best time!
Wendy,
revisit us here at planDisney if you need suggestions about how to make the most of your Most Magical vacation. I'm all ears!
Magic always,
LeAndra
