Welcome to planDisney, Leslie! I’m so glad you stopped by with your question.
Leslie, on a
holiday designed to thankfulness, how wonderful that you’re able to celebrate at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Now, you are correct that quite a few Mouseketeers will also want to celebrate Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World, so let’s talk about
Park Hopping on busier days.
My first recommendation is to make sure you have the most up-to-date version of the
My Disney Experience Mobile App downloaded on your phone. When you enable push notifications, you will get an alert on your phone if a park closes the ability to hop due to capacity.
Another option, Leslie, is to drop by any
Guest Relations booth at the park you’re in (from the scenario you described, EPCOT) and inquire with the Cast Member about the availability of Park Hopping before you head out.
No matter if you spend your Thanksgiving evening in
Magic Kingdom Park or anywhere else in Walt Disney World, I’ll be wishing on a star that you have a warm and wonderful time.
Please come on back to planDisney with any additional questions you might have. And… in the words of Mickey himself, we’ll “see ya real soon!”
