Hey, there! Hi, there! Welcome to planDisney, Brian.
It looks like you're heading to the Most Magical Place on Earth at the most wonderful time of the year. I like your style!
With the new
Lightning Lane passes you can purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass and select three attractions before your trip to
Walt Disney World Resort. If you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can purchase passes starting seven days before your check-in date. All other Guests can start planning with Lightning Lanes three days before their trip to the theme parks.
When you are able to make your Lightning Lane plans, you will have the option to purchase a pass and make selections in one theme park. With the
Park Hopper option, this could be at any theme park; it does not have to be at the park you plan to visit first. So you could plan your day at
Magic Kingdom Park with the Multi Pass and still start your day rope-dropping
EPCOT.
Make sure you check out the
list of attractions ahead of time. At the Magic Kingdom, the Multi Pass experiences are divided into two groups. You can select one from the first group and the other two (or all three) from the other group. Once you have redeemed your first pass, you can make selections from any group or theme park.
Did you know you can still get
Virtual Queues on the day of your park visit? You could try to get in the Virtual Queue for
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at 7 a.m. and hope to get an early morning Boarding Group. If you head to the Magic Kingdom before 1 p.m., you could dig a little deeper and add racing
TRON Lightcycle / Run or
Tiana's Bayou Adventure to your day's plans. There are so many possibilities! I would encourage you check the attractions that offer a Virtual Queue as they may change before your trip later this year.
If you have any other questions as you plan to speed through time, space, and Lighting Lane queues, please come back by
planDisney.
Adventure is Out There!
