Howdy, Lori,
Yes, you may give a ticket to another Guest. Although tickets may not be refunded or sold, they may be used by another person, even if their name does not match the name listed on your Disneyland Resort account. According to the Disneyland Resort theme park ticket
terms and conditions, theme park reservations are not transferable and must remain with the same tickets. Or they can be canceled and new theme park reservations may be made with the same tickets or even a subset of a group of tickets.
Once a particular person starts using a ticket, a photo of the ticket holder is taken at the theme park entrance and the ticket becomes nontransferable. If the ticket starts as a Disney eTicket, a new ticket number will be assigned and the Cast Member at the theme park entrance will provide a printed ticket to the Guest. The ticket number in the
Disneyland app will automatically be updated to match the printed ticket number. You may write the name of the actual ticket holder on the printed ticket.
You can use the Disneyland app to use
Disney Genie+ to book
Lightning Lane return times or to purchase
Individual Lightning Lane return times. The last four digits of the ticket number will be displayed in the app, which can be used to keep track of which tickets belong to which Guests.
Tony’s Tip: Disney Genie+ isn’t only for access to Lightning Lane entrances to select attractions. Disneyland Resort Guests who have purchased Genie+ are also entitled to complimentary downloads of the
Disney PhotoPass photos for each day they have Genie+. That includes on-ride attraction photos!
