We have a park hopper ticket for one day. We are spending most of our day at Magic Kingdom. I realize now that they have the Not So Scary happening while we are there. Is this something that we need to purchase additional tickets to participate?

Hello Christy, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.

I am excited to hear that you will be spending a day at the Magic Kingdom in just a few weeks. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be a frightfully wonderful addition to you visit.

This party requires a separate special admission ticket and it’s definitely worth it. Get your Halloween costumes ready to trick-or-treat throughout the Magic Kingdom. You will enjoy a night of spooktacular entertainment. Mickey’s Boo-To-You Parade and the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks are among they highlights of the evening. Mickey and his pals are dressed up in their Halloween costumes and ready for a night of hauntingly good fun.

The several attractions in the Magic Kingdom have me magically transformed to give you more Halloween fun. Space Mountain, the Mad Tea Party and Pirates of the Caribbean have been magically themed for this year’s event. There are only a limited number of tickets available each night. I would suggest you purchase your tickets in advance if you are planning to attend. Tickets can be purchased online and linked to your My Disney Experience account. I hope that helps to answer your question.

    Happy Halloween,
    Andrea
