Welcome to planDisney, Marcus. It sounds like a magical day at the Disneyland Resort is in store for you and your spouse and I'm thrilled to help you prepare.
To ensure that there are theme park tickets and reservations available for the day that you'd like to visit, I recommend checking the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar. Make sure you select the correct ticket type as availability can vary depending on which type of ticket you are planning to use. Once you've confirmed that reservations are available for the day of your visit, you can make your
theme park ticket purchase. I just took a peek and saw that both theme parks are available for your planned visit (subject to change). If the ticket that you are using is a 1-Day theme park ticket, you will also want to
check which tier it is and make sure that you can use it for this day.
If you haven't already, be sure to download the
Disneyland app for your visit. This is a super handy tool that I use during all of my visits. In the app, you will find a map of the resort, attraction wait times and a feature to
mobile order food and beverage (my personal favorite feature). I'll even mobile order food before I arrive at the theme park and head directly to pick up my breakfast as soon as I arrive. It's great for avoiding any "hangry" situations.
Marcus, I hope this is helpful as you are getting ready to set off on your magical adventure. Here's wishing you a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
