Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Vicky!
I am so happy to help you plan your trip to Walt Disney World Resort. As the mom to two Mouseketeers under 5 years old, I have a lot of experience taking little ones to the theme parks! With a standard theme park ticket, you can visit one park per day. You are welcome to leave and return to that park if you would like, which is a great opportunity to to go back to your hotel so your little ones can take a nap or so you can explore all of the fun things at Disney Springs. The Park Hopper Option will allow you to visit multiple parks in one day. My family used this option on our last trip to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom in the morning for breakfast with Donald and friends at Tusker House Restaurant and enjoy all of the wonderful things to offer at that park and then spend evening in Magic Kingdom enjoying the Main Street Electrical Parade and Wishes Nighttime Spectacular.
When my family travels with our little ones, we like to add the Park Hopper Option for trips longer than four or five days. Since we have more time during our vacation to see all of our "must-dos" theme parks, relax at our hotel and enjoy the shopping, dining and recreation outside of the theme parks, we will spend more time hopping between the parks. If we are visiting the parks for 4 days or less, we generally do not travel between parks each day. Since there is so much to do at each of the theme parks, we plan on enjoying one theme park each day to allows us to focus on hitting our "must-dos" in that day's park.
