Hi Katie,
Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am happy to see that you are considering attending
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, it is my favourite Special Event.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a Special Event held at Magic Kingdom Park and does require a separate event ticket. Even if you have Theme Park Tickets with the Park Hopper Option and do not enter a Theme Park prior to the party, once the party starts you will need a separate ticket to stay at Magic Kingdom Park for the event. When the party starts at 7:00, Cast Members will begin looking for wristbands given to guests with tickets and they will also scan your MagicBands at entrances to attractions ensuring that you indeed have purchased a ticket to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. If you do not have a ticket, the Cast Member will ask you and your party to exit the Theme Park.
If you have not purchased your
Theme Park Tickets, I would suggest looking at how many days you would like to spend in the Theme Parks but do not include the night you are considering for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (unless you would like to spend all day in the Theme Park). From there, simply purchase the number of days you need so that you will save a little on the day of the Party and don't purchase extra days that won't be used. My family and I like to spend the day of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at our Walt Disney World Resort Hotel relaxing so that we are ready for an evening of spooky fun!
I hope you have a SPOOKTACULAR time at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Katie. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
Stephanie
