park hopper or single park per day? We have 3 kids (9,7,3). in the past we have done ph but was wondering if we could have just as much fun without. thoughts?

For my family, the park hopper option is more a splurge than a necessity, Latosha.  We've done trips with and without it and I can honestly tell you that while having the option to hop between parks is nice, it isn't necessary to have a great time.  We tend to visit a single park each day and--if we have the option--we might hop to Epcot for dinner in one of the World Showcase restaurants.  Without the option to park hop, we simply eat in the same park or at one of the resort hotel restaurants.

In short, Latosha, you could certainly have a magical trip without the park hopper.  Skipping it will save you some money to use elsewhere.  Have a great time!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
