Hey there, hi there, ho there, Ashleigh, and welcome to the magical world of planDisney! Discovering unused theme park tickets from years ago is a bit like finding buried treasure; so let's talk about how to make the most of your recent discovery!
The great news is that the Walt Disney World Resort will
honor any remaining days on your unused, nonexpired theme park tickets. Since every theme park ticket is different, there are a few options to verify the value and availability of your existing tickets - you may call the
Existing Tickets phone number to try to verify over the phone, or you may visit any ticket booth window or
Guest Relations when you arrive at the parks. Once your old tickets have been updated and converted, you should be able to link them to the guests who will be using them through your
My Disney Experience account.
If you have another member of your travel party in need of a new ticket, you can purchase their
Theme Park Ticket online through your My Disney Experience account and link it directly to their account if they are a part of your Friends and Family list. As part of the ticket selection process, you will be able to add whatever options you prefer, including the
Park Hopper Plus option. Then, you will all be ready to experience the magic together!
And since you have the Park Hopper Plus option, there are some extra experiences included in your ticket admission outside of the four theme parks! This ticket option allows you a set number of visits (based on the number of days your ticket includes) to any of the following:
- Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
- Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park
- ESPN'S Wide World of Sports Complex
- Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course
- FootGolf at Disney's Oak Trail
- Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course (one round prior to 4:30 PM)
- Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course (one round prior to 4:30 PM)
These visits are in addition to your theme park admissions;
ticket use and expiration details are different for all tickets, so be sure to verify your eligible admissions as you plan
It is important to note that the water parks currently operate on a rotating schedule; at this time, Blizzard Beach Water Park is operating, but I would recommend checking the
Theme Park Hours and Events Calendar as your trip gets closer to verify which park will be open when you visit. Whether you end up catching waves at
Typhoon Lagoon (don't miss the Crush 'n' Gusher water coaster!) or hitting the slopes at
Blizzard Beach (are you brave enough for Summit Plummet?), you are in for a splash-tastic underwater adventure!
Thanks again for stopping by, Ashleigh! I hope you have a magical vacation and enjoy all the benefits of the extra experiences your theme park ticket allows! Come back anytime if we can help again!
Magic Awaits,
Alison
