Hi Wendy,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for sending us your question. It sounds like you have quite the day planned, how exciting!
Travelling between Theme Parks is quick and easy with
complimentary transportation. In order to get from Disney’s Animal Kingdom to Epcot, I would recommend taking the bus, located just outside of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The bus transportation can be found to the right hand side as you exit the Theme Park. Simply locate the bus stop for Epcot and you will be able to take the bus directly there.
To get from Epcot to Magic Kingdom Park, I would suggest taking the Monorail. Once you exit Epcot, the Monorail is located directly in front of the Theme Park, just follow the clearly marked signs. Once on the Monorail, you will have to transfer monorails at the Transportation and Ticket Center, where you can either take the Monorail to Magic Kingdom Park or enjoy a ferry ride as well.
At the end of the evening, you have two options. To return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom you could take the bus located just outside Magic Kingdom Park, depending on the hours of operation. Your other option would be to take a taxi from a resort hotel close by or from the Transportation and Ticket Center.
Please keep in mind that it may be just as quick for you to take your vehicle to each of the Theme Parks, depending on how busy the Theme Parks are. When my family drives instead of flying, we prefer driving between the Theme Parks instead of using Disney Transportation.
I hope you have a fun filled day at Walt Disney World Resort, Wendy. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
Stephanie
