Hello and Welcome, Patricia! I'm so glad you've stopped by planDisney with your question about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.
Park hopping is my favorite way to spend a Disney day and I am so glad that it returned to us at the start of this year. With its return, it did bring some new changes due to restrictions that were and still are in place during these unprecedented times. When you are park hopping, Patricia, you will need to have a
park pass reservation for the initial theme park you'd like to visit each day. Park pass reservations are basically like a virtual placeholder in line. This was put into effect to help control the number of people at each theme park. You do not and actually aren't able to make multiple park pass reservations each day to park hop - just that initial one. On the day of, you'll actually need to scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation first. This sort of "activates" your park hopper feature. Right now, park hopping hours start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes in the evenings. When you are ready to park hop from one park to the next, complimentary park-to-park bus transportation is currently being provided starting around 2:00 p.m. each day. Once it is 2:00 p.m. you are able to visit any and all of the theme parks that you'd like.
I personally love to park hop You can find me typically enjoying some of my favorite attractions during the early morning hours, poolside around lunchtime and then snacking my way around
The World Showcase at Epcot during the evening hours. I think you will really enjoy park hopping, too!
I hope this helps clear up any confusion you might have had about park hopping, Patricia. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to come back and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have a great day!
