Do you have to have a park hopper pass to ride the monorail from one location to another? We plan to ride the monorail from Magic Kingdom to Epcot in the same day and plan to use the monorail. Thanks!

    Hi Fran!!!

Thank you so much for your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!!!  The Monorail is so much fun to ride and we love riding it on each of our Walt Disney World Vacations!!!  I believe our three year old likes it as much as he does the theme parks!!!

A Park Hopper Ticket is not required to ride the monorail between the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.  You will, however, need the Park Hopper option on your tickets if you plan to enter both parks on the same day.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions!!

    Have a magical day!!
