How ya doin' Courtney and welcome to planDisney!
October 1st is a particularly special day at the Walt Disney World Resort. It's the anniversary of The Most Magical Place on Earth! That's right, this October marks 51 years of magical excellence, and my goodness we're still in the throws of the
50th Anniversary Celebration. And as if things couldn't get any better, now you'll be joining the party. Speaking of parties, your fall trip is the perfect time to scare up your best BOOs and hit
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to kick off the month of all things spooky.
Now, this party is quite the affair. Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize early on party nights so Guests that don't have tickets for this special event will need to exit
Magic Kingdom Park by 6 PM to make way for the revelries. During the dates you've provided, it's looking like October 2nd and October 4th will require you to use that
Park Hopper Option to head elsewhere to finish off your evening if you don't plan on attending the party. Let me suggest EPCOT for an evening of treats and cocktails(if you're 21 years old and over) at the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Outside of those two nights, you're free to shut down Magic Kingdom Park as usual.
Pro-tip: I noticed you've said you haven't bought party tickets yet, yet being the operative word here. If you're on the fence, Courtney, I highly recommend making that purchase and going! Get yourself a costume and go haunt Magic Kingdom Park with the rest of the ghouls. It's sure to be a swingin' wake!
Courtney, I hope I've been able to help you today. If you have any other questions, come back and
ask me. I'm happy to help set you up with some Halloween fun.
Happy haunting!
Taylor
