Hey there, Kelly. Thanks for visiting us here at
planDisney with your question. March is such a lovely month to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, you are going to have a great time!
Kelly,
park hopping is my favorite way to spend a Disney day! I'm glad to see that you've added it on to your Walt Disney World vacation package too. Park hopping does look a little bit different than it did before. Right now, to park hop, Guests must have valid theme park admission with the park hopper option included - which it sounds like you do. Because the Walt Disney World Theme Parks are still operating at a limited capacity you'll also need to make park pass reservations for an initial theme park you'd like to visit each day. On the day of, you'll need to visit the theme park with the park pass reservation first before continuing on to other parks later in the day. It is not necessary or even possible to hold multiple park pass reservations for one particular day so no worries there, you are doing everything correctly. Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes in the evening. Around 2:00 p.m. you can head to any of the other Walt Disney World Theme Parks that you'd like and throughout the rest of the afternoon and evening you can visit any or all of them if you'd like!
Disney Genie+ is the new service where you can schedule certain attraction ride times, kind of what the FastPass+ program used to be like. Disney Genie+ is now a paid service costing $15.00 per person per day. If you'd like to use this service, you can add it to your ticket option ahead of time or the day of using the MyDisneyExperience mobile app. Then, starting at 7:00 a.m., on the day of, you can access the Disney Genie+ to start making your ride selections. You'll be able to secure one attraction reservation at a time. Then, once you've scanned into that particular attraction you are able to make another selection and so on and so forth.
I hope this helps, Kelly. If you have any other questions please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help. Have fun and enjoy!
