I'm so glad that you held on to your ticket! As you know, most theme park tickets that were purchased before the pandemic have had the expiration dates automatically extended. If you have a valid ticket with a Disney MaxPass entitlement, please submit an inquiry to Disneyland Resort Guest Services via
email (select "Disney MaxPass Refunds" from the subject drop-down menu) or by calling (714) 781-4636. They will let you know what options are available for your Disney MaxPass entitlement.
I can tell you that your Disney MaxPass entitlement will not automatically transition to the new
Disney Genie+ service when it rolls out this fall. You will purchase Disney Genie+ separately for $20 per day, per ticket. Disney Genie+ will work much like Disney MaxPass did in the past. You will select the next available arrival date for an attraction in the Disneyland app and skip most of the wait by using the Lightning Lane. This service will be available on over 15 attractions at the parks and you can make arrival time selections one at a time throughout the day. Also like Disney MaxPass, your Disney PhotoPass downloads will be included on any day that you purchase and use Disney Genie+.
