Hi Sarah!
Welcome to planDisney!
I’m happy to report that…yes! You’ll be able to purchase
Lightning Lane Multi Pass for one park and Lightning Lane Premier Pass for another park on the same park day, pending availability. Let’s chat about a couple of things to think about when doing so.
First, when your Lightning Lane booking window opens, these will be two separate transactions. I recommend purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass for
Animal Kingdom first since you’ll choose your Lightning Lane return times when you purchase that pass. You’ll want to give yourself the best chance at snagging early return times since you’ll be there the first part of the day. Then go back and purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass for
Epcot.
Second, make sure you’re choosing return times that work with your itinerary. If the Lightning Lane return times are too late, you can always try to modify them leading up to your trip or on your park day if something that works better with your schedule opens up.
It’s good to note that after you scan into your very first Lightning Lane of the day when using Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you’ll be able to book any available Lightning Lane in any park every time you scan into a Lightning Lane from there on out. So, once you’re done with your Lightning Lanes at Animal Kingdom, you can book Lightning Lanes in Epcot if you’d like. Then, you could ride some attractions at Epcot twice…once with Lightning Lane Premier Pass and once with Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
Finally, yes! You can book these in advance. Your Lightning Lane booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your resort check-in date if you’re staying at a
Disney World resort. If you’re staying off-property, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket for date-based tickets.
I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions!
