Do you have to have the park hopper to be able to return to the same park on the same day?

    Hi Sabrina,

A Walt Disney World park ticket without the Park Hopper Option does allow you to leave a theme park and re-enter the same theme park on the same day.  It's a great plan too, especially if you have kids traveling with you.  A Disney resort Guest will be able to leave the park, go back to their resort and grab a swim, nap or lunch somewhere else on property.

Please keep in mind that there are days; mostly holidays (Christmas, New Years Eve, etc.) which are notorious for reaching capacity early in the day.   Re-entry is not guaranteed when you leave the park.

I hope you have a terrific time at Disney!  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Have a magical day!
