Hi Iain,
Welcome to planDisney! We're always so pleased to help guests like you from around the world with questions about planning a vacation at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Let's get right to the answer: Yes,
parkhopper tickets are an option at Walt Disney World. When you book your vacation, you can choose between one-park-per-day tickets and, for a bit more money, tickets that allow you to move freely among the four theme parks.
Ticket prices and the additional cost of the parkhopper option vary based on date and the number of days purchased.
Annual passes also provide the option to park hop, along with other
passholder benefits.
With annual passes and some kinds of parkhopper tickets, you may be required to make a
reservation for the first park you enter for the day. (Reservations are not required for date-specific tickets.)
But if your ticket or pass is valid for park-hopping, there's no limit on how many times you can come and go or how many parks you can visit in a day, subject to park capacity.
We are long-time annual passholders, and at least once a year, we meet other local friends for a four-parks-in-a-single-day tour through Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios. It's one of our favorite passholder benefits.
I hope that helps you decide what kind of ticket or pass is right for you, Iain. Please check back any time we here at planDisney can be of assistance.
Enjoy,
Wilma
