Hey there, Francine. Thanks for dropping by
planDisney with your question.
Park hopping is my favorite way to spend a Disney day, Francine, and you are going to love it too. With your park hopper pass, you are able to visit one, two or even all four of the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day. You can also absolutely start at Magic Kingdom Park, hop on over to Epcot and then, later on, finish up the day back at Magic Kingdom Park.
Park hopping does look a little bit different since it returned to us at the start of this year. In order to park hop, you'll need to have valid theme park admission with the park hopper option. On top of tickets, you'll also need to have park pass reservations at the initial theme park you'd like to visit each day. On the day of, you'll need to scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation before continuing on to other theme parks later that day. Right now, park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes in the evening. To make park hopping a little bit easier for Guests at this time, complimentary park-to-park bus transportation is currently being provided.
My favorite way to park hop, Francine, is to start at Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom in the early morning hours. I love getting there a little bit before the theme parks open and crossing off several of my must-do's from my list before lunchtime. Then, when the parks tend to fill up I like to head back to the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that I happen to be staying at for some pool time. When I've had my fill of fun in the Florida sun, I like to clean up and head over to Epcot for the rest of the day. It's so fun enjoying snacks and drinks from the
World Showcase for dinner.
I hope this helps plan your day a little bit better, Francine. If you have any other questions please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help. Have fun and happy hopping!
