Hey, howdy, hey, Walter, and welcome to planDisney. Sometimes I feel like Basil of Baker Street from The Great Mouse Detective when it comes to Virtual Queues and Lightning Lane Passes.

I have heard of Guests checking into one park in the morning, hopping to another in the afternoon, and securing a Virtual Queue boarding group inside the morning theme park. Disney tests ideas and has glitches from time to time so I can not say that it has never happened, however, per Disney, Guests must be inside the theme park at 1:00 PM to attempt to reserve a boarding group at the second release. If TRON Lightcycle / Run is important to your Disney vacation and you are unable to get a boarding group at the 7:00 AM virtual queue drop and you want to be at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park when the clock strikes 1:00 PM, then my advice is to purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass for TRON Lightcycle / Run. It will take the pressure off since you will set your time to be back at Magic Kingdom Park.
