If we park hop between epcot and magic kingdom which parking lot is easier to get out of at night? We will do epcot in the morning and magic kingdom later at night?

    Hi Jeremy,

The answer to your question depends on how late you intend to stay at Magic Kingdom. Hands down, I think the Epcot parking lot is easier to navigate at all times of the day. If you arrive early, you can park within easy walking distance to the front gate and to the monorail station.

This issue, however, is that Epcot normally closes at 9 p.m. Magic Kingdom will be open until at least 11 p.m. during your visit. If you stay until park closing, the monorail to Epcot may have stopped running by then. On one of our visits, we lost track of the time (easy to do in Magic Kingdom) barely made it onto the last monorail back to Epcot and our car.

So, in your situation, I'd probably park in the Magic Kingdom lot if that is where you expect to end the day. From the Magic Kingdom parking, you can access the monorails to both Magic Kingdom and Epcot at theTransportation and Ticket Center. You also can take a ferry to and from Magic Kingdom at the TTC.

I am assuming from your question that you are not staying in a Walt Disney World resort. If you are, then I'd recommend using the free bus transportation that runs between the theme parks and the resorts instead of driving. We love to park hop and, unless we are there just for the day, always use the Disney transportation so that we don't have to worry about finding ourselves far from our vehicle at the end of the night.

Thanks for your question. I hope my answer was helpful. Please let me know if I can do anything else to assist you as you make your vacation plans. Enjoy!
