Hello Jeanette
Welcome to planDisney! Your trip is rapidly approaching and I am sure you are very excited to make every minute magical. It's a great idea to consider using
Lightning Lane Multi Pass to make the most of your day. If used correctly you may find yourself saving so much time and experiencing much more attractions then expected.
When purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, you will have to decide which Park you wish to use it in. Once you select that Park, you will have a chance to select three attractions you wish to select as your Lightning Lane choice. Now, these three attractions must all be at the same Park when booked ahead of your visit. This is how it goes even if you have a Park Hopper ticket and plan to visit another one. In addition, you will not be able to purchase two Lightning Lane Multi Passes for the day as one has already been applied to your account. You are, however, allowed to purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass on top of the Multi Pass but it only applies to one ride in one Park for a specific period. Once you use one Lightning Lane (not the Single Pass) you will find the “world” opens as you can not only book one more at any Park but you can also modify your other two. All bookings made the day of your visit will be based on what is available so always select popular or must-do attractions first as they can run out.
It is pretty strategic to start your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park as it usually has the earliest Park opening time. That means that your first Lightning Lane could be very early in the day which will then allow you to make your next booking for the day before many other guests. Park Hopping is then a great way to make use of this advantage in a "competitive" park like Disney's Hollywood Studios which has a lot of popular attractions.
Slinky Dog Dash always runs out of Lightning Lane booking windows very quickly so don't delay in securing a spot!
I hope you have a magical day!
Happy Planning!
