Hi Paeton! Thanks for stopping by planDisney! Any time I get a chance to talk about Walt Disney World with a fellow Guest is a great day in my books!
I can happily report that park hopping has returned to the Walt Disney World Resort! It has been slightly modified from its original form, but you still can visit all four theme parks in one day if you choose to. In order to park hop, you'll need to purchase a park ticket with the
Park Hopper Option added to it, or be an Annual Passholder. You'll still need to make a park reservation to the first park you plan to visit that day. Starting at 2 PM once you have visited your first park, you can hop to any of the remaining three parks for the rest of the day. Park reservations are not needed for the parks you hop over to. Keep in mind that park hopping is subject to the capacity limitations at that specific park, however, you will receive a notification through your
My Disney Experience account in the event that a park reaches capacity.
Park hopping comes along with many benefits, but none more than being able to get the most out of your park day. Some parks feature later hours than others, so if you plan your day properly, you can start your day at a park that opens early and end your day at a park that closes late. Now with
Extended Evening Hours for Disney Deluxe Resort Guests, you can extend your day even further.
If you plan on staying in the
EPCOT Resort Area, I highly recommend purchasing tickets with the Park Hopper Option added. Being so close to the back entrance to EPCOT, there will be many nights when you return from your park day and want to stroll over to EPCOT for a snack or even a table service meal. Having the option to enjoy the World Showcase each night is a big advantage when staying in this area!
Paeton, I hope you have a magical time on your next Walt Disney World trip!
Stop back and see us any time at planDisney!
See ya real soon!
