Hi there, Myra! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
Using the International Gateway entrance at
EPCOT is so convenient if you're planning to explore World Showcase and attractions such as
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure or
Frozen Ever After as soon as you arrive at the theme park. If you'll be driving to the parks and wish to enter EPCOT at the International Gateway, then you will need to
park your car at
Disney's Hollywood Studios. You won't need to scan your
theme park tickets to enter the parking lot, so it's fine to park there and travel to another theme park.
Once your car is parked in the lot at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you have a few options for traveling over to EPCOT's International Gateway. The
Disney Skyliner and the
FriendShip Boats both transport Guests back and forth between Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. There is also a walking path from Disney's Hollywood Studios to the International Gateway at EPCOT. The walk between these two theme parks usually takes around 15-20 minutes if you're walking at a fairly brisk pace.
While you're visiting EPCOT, be sure to check out all that the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival has to offer. I'll be visiting next week, and I've been looking over the
Foodie Guide for this year's festival to plan all of my must-try snacks and sips. Be sure to
check out the latest episode of the planDisneyPodcast for our top tips on enjoying the festival.
Myra, I hope that this information is helpful as you plan for your
Walt Disney World Resort visit. If you have any additional questions, feel free to
stop by planDisney again anytime. My fellow panelists and I are all ears! See ya real soon!
