Hiya Melissa,
Welcome to planDisney! I love that you are looking to end your evening with fireworks; I’m biased, but there is no more perfect ending to a magical day than that. I personally love to grab a baguette from
Les Halles Boulangerie and Patisserie in the France Pavilion, then head to a spot around World Showcase to enjoy the show.
Enough about me, though, let’s chat about your question. I can completely understand your worry, Melissa. Here is what you should know: the
Disney Skyliner stays open 90 minutes after EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios, so you should be okay depending on when Hollywood Studios closes for the day. That said, before you hop on the Skyliner to head to EPCOT, take a look at the sign outside of the Skyliner. On the sign, it typically outlines when the last gondola will depart for Hollywood Studios (you can also ask the Cast Member stationed outside) for extra peace of mind. If, for some reason, the Skyliner isn’t running, no need to miss out on
Luminous. There is a walking path that connects EPCOT to Hollywood Studios via the
BoardWalk. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from the International Gateway to the Hollywood Studios parking lot, and it is really easy if you have a stroller. Sometimes, when the Skyliner line is too long for my toddlers to wait in, I just opt for the walk instead. If you decide to take it, just head out of International Gateway (between the UK and France Pavilion) and head to the BoardWalk. Then follow the signs to Hollywood Studios!
I hope this was helpful, Melissa. Before I let you go, if you are really worried, don’t forget that you can move your car over to EPCOT before the show. Your parking fee covers park hopping, so you won’t have to worry about paying again. Plus, the views of Luminous from the other side of World Showcase are great as well. If you need anything else, please come back and see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
