Hello Trina,
It's wonderful to see you here with us at planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question.
It sounds like you have magical plans in place for enjoying some Walt Disney World Resort theme park fun as well as enjoying dining (and maybe shopping and entertainment, too!) at
Disney Springs.
I think your choice of which theme park to play in before your Disney Springs dining will really depend on your personal preference for walking to get to your transportation choices.
If you're heading to Disney Springs from one of the theme parks, you'll want to keep in mind that
Walt Disney World Bus Service is available between Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs.
Given my own preferences, I'd probably enjoy Magic Kingdom Park (and walk to Disney's Contemporary Resort) or EPCOT (and walk to Disney's Beach Club Resort) to hop on the Walt Disney World Bus Service to Disney Springs.
Part of what makes for a great vacation plan is knowing how to find your way all around the Walt Disney World Resort to get from one magical adventure to the next. When it comes to navigating the Walt Disney World Resort, I always like to recommend the
My Disney Experience mobile app with its step-by-step directions.
In your case, if you use the mobile app, simply tap the map pin icon on the home screen, set the filter for Disney Springs, and then set the category for dining, you'll be able to see
Planet Hollywood on the map or in the list view. You can then use the "See Transit Directions" feature to see and compare directions from the different theme parks to Planet Hollywood (just change your "from" location to search for and select the different theme parks). You'll be able to get a good idea of the walking route and the travel time using the Walt Disney World Bus Service. You could also consider a ride share service as an option.
Trina, here's wishing you a fun and wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!
Jerry
