Hello is 1900 Park Fare okay to go to with a Peanut/Tree nut allergic child? Its the only place that had an available reservation and a cast member noted the allergy when I called. I get nervous with buffet places. Thank you

    Hi Lauren,

Walt Disney World is incredibly conscientious about helping guests with allergies enjoy their visits safely. When you check in at 1900 Park Fare, just be sure you remind them that you have someone in your party with a peanut/tree nut allergy. The restaurant will send someone to your table -- usually a chef -- to talk with you about which foods are acceptable. I've seen chefs walk through the entire buffet with a guest to point out which dishes to avoid and which to enjoy.

My niece has a peanut allergy, so I know how unnerving it can be to dine in an unfamiliar place. But I think you will find that Disney makes it as carefree as possible.

I hope that eases your concerns. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you as you make your plans. Enjoy!
