If I want to be in the park for the extra magic hours at night, do we have to be in the park before it closes? What if we get to Epcot at 7:00 will we still get to come in and ride the rides?

No you will not need to be in the park with evening Extra Magic Hours before it closes to the general public.

When you arrive the entrance gate, you will need to show your Walt Disney World resort identification. This will be your blue “Your Key to the World” room key which states your vacation dates on the front of the card. You will be given your Extra Magic Hour bracelet as you enter.
