When a park has extra hours at 8 am, does that mean they open at 7 am for People that stay in resorts?

    Hello Jennifer,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your planning question. I am sure you are really looking forward to your magical trip. It is always great to start planning your day to day itineraries so that you can get the most out of your visit.

Extra Magic Hours is a perk exclusively for those guests that are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels and the Shades of Green Resort. Each day, one of the theme parks will either open one hour prior to the opening time for the general public or stay open past the closing time for the general public. So, if a theme park has a posted "Extra Magic Hours" time of 8am-9am, then that is the time open to guests at the resorts I listed above. The rest of the general public would then enter at 9am. Again, this is just an example. For a schedule of those posted times, visit the official park hours and calendars webpage and search by day. Please keep in mind that park hours could vary from day to day and are subject to change without notice.

I hope I was able to clarify this for you. Have a wonderful time making pixie-dusted memories.
