If I park at Epcot, then have dinner after the park closes at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, can I get back to my car easily? Can I walk back to my car? Or would I need to exit Epcot at park close and move my car prior to dinner?

    Hiya Kacey!

I'm so excited to hear you've made plans to dine at one of my favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World - Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club Resort! I've honestly never had a more delicious grilled cheese sandwich anywhere else. With a side of tomato soup, it's the perfect appetizer before the REAL meal - an ice cream sundae! As a peanut butter lover, I personally recommend the No Way Jose. Trust me when I say it's enough for two people...IF you decide to share.

If you're planning to visit Beaches and Cream after Epcot closes for the evening, your best bet would be to exit Epcot through the main entrance and drive to the Beach Club Resort so you'll have easy access to your car after dinner. You may be asked to show your Advance Dining Reservation at the Resort entrance, which can easily be accessed through the My Disney Experience mobile app. Although Epcot's International Gateway (sometimes referred to as the "back gate") leads to the Epcot Resort Area (and is a short walk from Beaches and Cream), once the Gateway is closed you'd no longer have access to the parking lot at Epcot's entrance after your meal.

Depending on what time your reservation is, make sure to keep an eye on Epcot's Park Hours, as they are subject to change. The park just might end up staying open later, and you'd have time to head over, eat, and make it back through the International Gateway before the park closes!

I hope this advice is helpful with your planning, and I hope you have a most magical day at Epcot and an amazing dinner at Beaches and Cream! Remember to save room for dessert!
