Which park would be most enjoyable for a 4 and 1/2 year old

Hi there, Leah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

There is nothing like watching your little one experience the magic of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I have a son the same age as your kiddo, so I know how much fun it is to watch his reactions throughout the theme parks. Honestly, there is a lot for kids that age to enjoy at each of the theme parks, but if I could only experience one park during my visit, it would have to be Magic Kingdom Park.

You'll find that Magic Kingdom Park offers the most attractions that do not have any height requirements, meaning that any age can enjoy them. Depending on the height of your 4-year old, you may be able to take advantage of some of the rides that have lower height requirements like The Barnstormer, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Splash Mountain. My son LOVES them all!

If you think your child will enjoy meeting favorite characters, you'll find plenty of opportunities for that at Magic Kingdom Park. Make sure to stop by to meet the main mouse himself, Mickey Mouse! Give him a high-five for me while you're there!

Don't miss the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and the new Happily Ever After fireworks display. My kids enjoy both and I love seeing their eyes light up as they take it all in!
