Hi again, Crystal,
I'm happy you are considering a visit to the
Epcot International Food and Wine Festival during your vacation. It's my favorite special event of the year at
Walt Disney World.
Admission to the festival is included in your admission to Epcot; no special ticket required. The
Eat to the Beat concert series each night is free with admission, as is entrance to the
Festival Center.
The 30
Global Marketplaces, which offer tastes and sips from a variety of cuisines, usually open at 11 a.m. The food and drink samples range from about $3.50 to $8 each. We like to look through the marketplace menus in advance and come up with a game plan, then nosh our way around the World Showcase.
We also enjoy the
culinary demonstrations and
beverage seminars in the Festival Center ($15). The culinary demonstrations feature star chefs and give you a portion of the demonstrated dish, a glass of wine and a copy of the recipe. The beverage seminars include tastings and an educational presentation.
Friday and Saturday nights can be crowded, so if you can visit during the week, I'd recommend it.
Thanks again for your question. Enjoy the festival!
Wilma
