Can I park at Disney’s Fort Wilderness campground and ride a bus to Crocketts Tavern tomorrow 12/31/24?

    Howdy Sam!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question! It sounds like you're already enjoying a magical winter getaway at Walt Disney World - how exciting! Let's dive into your parking inquiry.

Crockett's Tavern and other Fort Wilderness dining locations are nestled near the Bay Lake marina. The resort's parking lot is situated at the opposite end of the resort near the main entrance. Typically, and especially during peak travel periods like this week, parking is limited to those staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort or visitors with dining reservations. When my friends and I dropped in last month for an evening at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, we had to present our names and reservation details to access the parking lot. From there, we hopped on an internal bus to Pioneer Hall.

If you don't have dining reservations, gaining entry to the resort's parking lot isn't guaranteed. Fortunately, there are several convenient alternatives to get you to your destination stress-free!

    1. Traveling from Magic Kingdom Park
Hop aboard a scenic water taxi directly to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Look for the Resort Launches queue just to the left of the monorail ramps as you exit Magic Kingdom. The boat will take you straight to the marina, a short walk from Crockett's Tavern.

    2. Traveling from a theme park other than the Magic Kingdom Park
Catch a bus to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. You'll be dropped off at The Outpost, where you can take an internal bus to the Pioneer Hall area near Crockett's Tavern.

    3. Driving your own car
Park at the Transportation & Ticket Center (TTC) and take a ferryboat or monorail to Magic Kingdom Park. From there, follow the steps in the first option and enjoy a relaxing boat ride to Fort Wilderness.

I hope this gives you some ideas for traveling around the world today, Sam! Best wishes for a safe and memorable New Year's celebration. Please reach out again if we can make future visits even more magical. Thanks for sending your question to us, and have a pixie-dusted start to 2025!
