Hi Alexandia,
Welcome to planDisney!
Hooray! It's exciting to see you planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
While there definitely is parking at
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, I suggest you take a few minutes to review the details on
Parking prior to your trip. If you are a guest staying at a Disney resort hotel, you currently can take advantage of complimentary standard parking. Other day guests can use complimentary standard parking as well. So, if you have an
advanced dining reservation at a resort hotel, for example, you can park at that resort hotel.
If you are not an overnight resort guest but plan to visit a Disney resort hotel during the day, you will need to move your vehicle and park elsewhere if you are going to a park afterwards. If, for example, you are headed to EPCOT after dining at 'Ohana for breakfast at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, you could park at the resort, but after breakfast you could leave your car at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then catch
Walt Disney World® Monorail Transportation to EPCOT. My family actually likes to walk from the Transportation and Ticket Center to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, so if you are visiting this resort hotel, you could park at the TTC, head to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for breakfast, and then catch the monorail back to the TTC or walk if you have the energy!
Since we most often fly into Orlando and do not have a car, we have started budgeted for ride share services during each visit. If we need to make an early more dining reservation at another resort hotel, we will catch an Uber or Lyft and then, when we are ready to get to a theme park, we will use Walt Disney World Transportation from there. In the past, we have done this when getting to a breakfast reservation at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. After breakfast, we hopped on the
Disney Skyliner to get to EPCOT. Keep in mind that you can also use the
Disney Minnie Van™ Service Connected by Lyft to get to certain locations!
Alexandria, keep up the
practically perfect planning. If you have not yet booked a
Disney vacation package, I encourage it. There is nothing quite like staying in the midst of the magic! Stop back by if you have additional questions!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
