Welcome back to planDisney, Teresa! We love it when Guests come back to get their burning
Disney vacation questions!
Park hopping can be a great way to allow for more flexibility and the opportunity to experience even more magic on your visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort! And with a bunch of
great transportation options, you don’t have to worry about driving yourself from park to park if you don’t want to. So, you can easily be enjoying the glitz and glamor of old Hollywood one minute and the next be on your way to the whimsical escape that is
Magic Kingdom Park the next!
At this time, the
Walt Disney World Bus Service runs until about an hour after the park closes. Just note that Magic Kingdom Park will sometimes close later than
Disney’s Hollywood Studios so depending on
the hours on the date you’re visiting and how late you are planning to stay, the buses to and from Disney’s Hollywood Studios may have ended by the time you’re done with Magic Kingdom Park. Since you’ll be driving, you may want to drive between the parks because currently, once a Guest pays for parking for the day at one of the theme parks, as long as they keep their receipt, they don’t have to pay again at a different park. Furthermore, your parking at the theme parks is currently included with a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel stay so if you’re staying at one of these great hotels, that’s one less thing to worry about. It just all depends what your plans are and what’s easiest for you.
When you are visiting this October, be sure to indulge in some of the seasonal treats for the spookiest season of the year. I won’t be able to get to the resort for the
Halloween season this year, but that hasn’t stopped me from drooling over the
Foodie Guide to all the seasonal offerings that will be available! And I hope you’re considering
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It’s always a blast! And, you know,
candy!
Teresa, enjoy your October visit! Be sure to
reach out again with any other questions!
Boo to you,
Matt
