For the 3 park 3 day promotional ticket, it states "one admission per theme park, one theme park per day—for a total of 3 admissions" Does this mean you cannot enter the park, leave for a mid day rest and return to the same park later?

Welcome to planDisney, Kari! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today. Knowing how to use your ticket is one of the most important parts of a Disney vacation, and I'm happy to let you know exactly how it works.

Great news: you can absolutely leave the park for a midday break and then come back later the same day with your 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket! That "one admission per theme park, one theme park per day" phrase can sound a little confusing at first, but all it really means is that your ticket is valid for one park per day (so no park hopping), and once you've used that day's admission at a specific park, you can't go back to that park on a subsequent day. You can come and go as much as you like once you've tapped in; it's considered to be the same admission!

For example, if you decide to spend the first day of your ticket at EPCOT, you can arrive bright and early in the morning, enjoy a few hours of attractions and snacks, then head back to your Resort Hotel for an afternoon swim and nap. Once you've recharged, you can return to EPCOT that same evening for more fun! Your ticket will still work just fine when you re-enter because it's all part of the same park day.

Where the restriction comes in is on a different day. If you use your ticket for EPCOT on your first day, then you can't use that same ticket to go back to EPCOT on your second or third day. Each admission is good for one park on one day, and with the promotional ticket, you get a total of three admissions to use across three different days at different parks.

So rest assured, with this ticket, you can absolutely plan midday breaks without worry. In fact, it's a great way to make the most of your energy and enjoy the parks in both the daytime and nighttime atmospheres. Walt Disney World is full of magic all day long, sometimes it's nice to take a little pause so you can soak it all in.

    Have a magical day, Kari!
