    How can I park at the Contemporary Resort if going to Chef Mickey’s on stand-by basis. I cannot get a reservation but stand by openings exist.

    I love eating at Chef Mickey's in Disney's Contemporary Resort! I especially love the delicious selection of food and fun with Mickey and his friends!

    You have a few options if you desire to try to get a standby or walk-up reservation at Chef Mickey's during your vacation. The first option is to drive your vehicle to Disney's Contemporary Resort and park there while trying to secure a dining reservation for Chef Mickey's. You will have to tell the Security Cast Member at Disney's Contemporary Resort (the main gate) that you wish to explore that Resort, shop, and try to get a walk-up reservation for Chef Mickey's. Typically the Security Cast Member will ask to see your ID, such as a driver's license and then let you in. You can do this without staying at that particular Resort or having Advanced Dining Reservations at that particular Resort. A second option would be to park at the Ticket and Transportation Center, which is the parking lot for the Magic Kingdom Park, and then take the Resort Monorail from the Ticket and Transportation Center to Disney's Contemporary Resort (the 4th stop once you get on the Resort Monorail).
