If the park closes at 8 to allow Disney resort guests extra time from 8-10, are we able to stay for the fireworks that begin at 8?

    Hi Michelle,
Welcome to planDisney!  I know a well-informed Disney Guest when I see one, and you are obviously doing your homework in preparation for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. There is so much magic to discover at The World's Most Magical Celebration, including two brand-new nighttime specatulars: Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom park and Harmonious at EPCOT.  As of January 9, park hours and showtimes are currently available online through March 21.

You will absolutely be able to experience Disney Enchantment at the end of your Magic Kingdom park day, Michelle, even if the showtime is the same as park closing. The show's captivating storytelling, moving instrumentals, beautifully choreographed fireworks and innovative projection mapping encourage Guests to celebrate the magic within us.  I can't think of a better grand finale to your day!  The projections extend down Main Street, U.S.A., which means you don't have to be right in front of Cinderella Castle to experience the show's full effect.  You will see folks waiting for the fireworks to begin in the immediate area surrounding Cinderella Castle over an hour before showtime. My family and I were happy to enjoy an extra attraction before securing a spot on Main Street, U.S.A., about 30 minutes before showtime. The kids and I took pictures of Cinderella Castle while my husband ducked into the recently remodeled Main Street Confectionery for a few Mickey krispie treats.

You won't be able to ride any additional attractions after the fireworks, but you should have time to grab any last-minute souvenEARS at the Emporium before you exit.  Can a person really have too many Minnie ears (asking for a friend)?!

    Yours in the magic,
    Jennifer
