Hi, Bill! Welcome to planDisney!
Three - count 'em, THREE! - days until you're pulling into the Walt Disney World Resort to start your big adventure! Can you believe it's really almost here?
Since you're coming into the homestretch of your vacation plans, it's a good time to think about some of those final details, like
where to park if you'll be driving to the theme parks. At the
Magic Kingdom Park, the main parking lot is adjacent to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), where you'll board a ferryboat or monorail to access the theme park entrance. Essentially, when you visit the Magic Kingdom Park, you're parking at the TTC.
The TTC also has a Guest drop-off and pick-up area, along with staging for charter buses. It is not served by
Walt Disney World buses, however. If you'd like to park at the TTC and catch a bus to a different theme park, you'll need to take the monorail or ferryboat to the Magic Kingdom Park entrance and walk over to the bus stops. If you have questions about bus service while you're there, a Cast Member will be happy to help you.
Bill, the holidays have arrived at the Walt Disney World Resort, and you'll get to see it! The Magic Kingdom Park is already sporting festive wreaths and garland, and the 65-foot Christmas tree on Main Street, U.S.A. is just as gorgeous as ever. There's nothing better than a
Disney Christmas!
I hope this helps you have a practically perfect Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Bill. Thanks for stopping by to see your planDisney pals, and I wish you and your family a magical holiday season!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
