Hey there, Jimmy! We're so glad to have you visit us at planDisney!
Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter is such a hidden gem. It’s one of the quietest, most charming resorts on property, and
Scat Cat’s Café serves up some of the best beignets this side of New Orleans!
Now, when it comes to parking, it’s important to know that resort parking is limited to guests staying at that resort or those with an
Advance Dining Reservation. Since Scat Cat’s is a quick-service spot, dining reservations aren’t available, so parking at the resort likely won’t be permitted for that visit.
Here’s what I recommend: park at
Disney Springs, where parking is complimentary. From there, enjoy a bit of shopping or strolling, then head to the boat launch. You’ll catch a peaceful ride down the Sassagoula River straight to Port Orleans – French Quarter. It’s a scenic and relaxing trip, and totally worth it for those warm, powdered-sugar-covered beignets.
Once you've enjoyed your sweet treat, you can walk over to Disney's Port Orleans-Riverside or head back to Disney Springs.
Let me know if you want tips on what else to explore while you're at the resort or nearby!
Toodles,
Korliss
