Can I park my car at a monorail resort & then take the monorail from that resort to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot, or do I need to be staying at that particular resort to use that their transportation system?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Dawn ~

I love traveling by monorail at the Walt Disney World Resort! In fact, my dream was to be a monorail pilot the first time I visited the Walt Disney World Resort in 1971 and I often pretended to be one after all of our trips.

Parking is provided at the three resorts along the monorail line only for Guests with hotel reservations during their stay. Guests with dining reservations are able to park at a resort during their dining reservation but will need to move their cars afterwards.

All Guests, whether you are staying on property at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or off property as a day Guest, are welcome to take full advantage of the complimentary transportation options. That means that you are more than welcome to ride the monorails, buses, and boats for free. Yay!

You can park your car at the Transportation and Ticket Center and take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot from there. You only have to pay one daily parking fee for a parking pass that is good all day at all four theme parks. They will give you a receipt when you pay the fee at any of the theme park Parking Plazas and you can use it to re-enter as many times as you would like that day. Parking is complimentary for Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or Annual Passholders.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
