Howdy Suzanne!
Welcome to
planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your question!
Guests returning to “The Happiest Place on Earth” is a dream come true! I love seeing all the smiling faces making memories to last a lifetime! With all the changes with
The Disneyland Resort’s phased re-opening process, many guests are sharing lots of great questions with us! It looks like you would like information on if the park's capacity changes depending on the day of the week. To follow the state guidelines to maintain proper social distancing and minimal person-to-person contact, the park's capacity for Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure Park currently are at a much lower capacity than before the closure last year. The capacity will be the same for each day of the week at this time.
To make this capacity limit easier for guests, The Disneyland Resort has implemented the
Theme Park Reservation system. Through the Theme Park Reservation system, guests can make a theme park reservation and be guaranteed access to that theme park with a current theme park ticket and their Theme Park Reservation. I appreciate this arrangement because it prevents guests from traveling to The Disneyland Resort and hoping to enjoy a fantastic day at one theme park but finding out that the park has reached capacity.
To stay up-to-date on all the changes as this phased re-opening continues, go to the
Disney Park Blog for current information on what to see and do during your visit. As The Disneyland Resort embraces guests “
Returning to a Land of Magic,” things may look a little different, but rest assured that there are tons of “Magic around every corner!”
If you have any more questions as you continue to plan your vacation for next month, please return to planDisney! We are always looking forward to hEARing from you again, Suzanne!
See Ya Real Soon,
Tamela
