Hi Joseph! Welcome to planDisney.
How excited are you getting all of your plans together to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort during
The World's Most Magical Celebration? During your visit, be on the lookout for the golden
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues. They make the perfect background for selfies to send to family or share on social media. On my last trip, I found that naughty Stitch by the famous purple wall near
Tomorrowland Terrace at
Magic Kingdom Park.
I like the choice of a mid-September visit to the house of the mouse. While it may be rather steamy, after Labor Day, I find the crowds ease up. Be sure to stay hydrated, pack a cooling towel, and rain gear for those Florida afternoon rain showers. After doing a quick world wide web search, it appears the consensus is park hours are released anywhere from 60 to 75 days in advance. I would keep checking the
park hours calendar for any updates. Even as your trip approaches, keep checking the calendar, as those hours could be updated or even extended.
A friendly planning reminder, currently both a valid
Theme Park Ticket and
Disney Park Pass Reservation are needed to visit the theme parks. Here is the
availability calendar to check your desired dates. I highly recommended your lock your choice of theme park early to avoid any disappointment.
As your trip gets closer, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for all the upcoming happenings at Walt Disney World. We do know the
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival will be in full swing. Also returning this year is the
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park. Tickets go on sale soon! Happy Planning.
Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
