Nothing beats taking the Disneyland Monorail into the parks and grabbing a DOLE Whip nightcap from Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill at the end of the night before you head back to your room.
When it comes to the
complimentary Lightning Lane benefit for hotel guests, I'm happy to share that you don't need to book this ahead of time. The beauty of this benefit is that you can use it at your leisure without having to schedule anything. When you're ready, you'll open the
Disneyland app to find your barcode and just scan in at the Lightning Lane entrance to redeem your benefit. As someone who is not an early riser, I really enjoy the convenience of this perk. Just make sure that your hotel reservation is linked to your MyDisney account in the Disneyland app and make sure that each guest is registered on your hotel reservation to receive this benefit.
Your timing is perfect, as you'll get to experience
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. A popular attraction during this time of year is Haunted Mansion Holiday. This is one of many great options for using your complimentary Lightning Lane benefit. The gingerbread display in the ballroom scene is different every year and I can't wait to see what spooktacular creation awaits me this year. If you're looking for more of a thrill, you might also consider using your benefit to ride Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! This ride also receives a haunting overlay and becomes Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark in the evenings.
