Hi there Sean, and welcome to planDisney!
You must be so excited that your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is just around the corner. You're in for a
wheely good time! While casually pedaling around several Resort Hotels is possible and
bike rentals are currently available at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort,
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa,
Disney's Old Key West Resort,
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, and
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, the only location with racks for storing a personal bicycle is Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Here you'll find bicycle parking throughout the resort, including at bus stops, pools, dining spots, and the marina.
If you're concerned about the distance from your room to the bus stops, Hakuna Matata, Sean! Consider reserving a "preferred room," which will usually put you closer to the lobby and transportation at most resorts. If you're staying at a larger resort like Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort or Disney's Old Key West Resort, there are several bus stops scattered throughout the resort, and you'll never be more than a few steps away from your ride to the theme parks. When completing
online-check in, you can also request that your room be located "near transportation" to minimize your walk.
Even if you can't use your wheels to get you from point A to point B, if you're staying at one of the resorts that offer bicycle rentals, I think you'll find some enjoyable paths and scenery to pedal past recreationally. My family has toured Disney's Old Key West Resort by bike, and we like to ride past the beautifully manicured greens of
Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course and the picturesque resort grounds.
I hope this is helpful, Sean, and that you have a fantastic trip next month without too many bumps in the road. Thanks for sending your question our way, and we can't wait to see ya real soon!
