What park would be best to visit with kids 8, 10, and 12

    Hi, Kara!

If you are only going to go to one park when visiting Walt Disney World, it would have to be the Magic Kingdom.  You will be amazed by the magic you will feel as you step onto Main Street USA and look up at Cinderella Castle!   There is truly magic in the air!

There are so many great attractions for your kids to enjoy:  Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Tomorrowland Speedway, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Haunted Mansion just to name a few.   You will enjoy the afternoon parade and end you evening with a fabulous viewing of Wishes!  (Check calendars for times/dates.)

Your kids might have fun munching on a giant Turkey Leg in Liberty Square, or getting a delicious hot dog at Casey's on Main Street.   No trip to Disney is complete without trying a Mickey Ice Cream bar.

Your kids are at great ages that you can really spend the whole day exploring the park.  For some down time, enjoy the Hall of Presidents or relax on Tom Sawyer's Island in a rocking chair on the shaded porch.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful time when visiting Walt Disney World, whichever park you choose!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
