Hi Christy! Welcome back to planDisney.
Your visit to The World's Most Magical Place on Earth is only three short days away. I just returned from the house of the mouse with some rainy days. Personally, I feel if you are prepared with your poncho, water-friendly shoes, and umbrella, rainy days at Walt Disney World Resort are some of the best. Many folks will retreat back to their resorts resulting in lower crowds.
If I had to choose, I would head on over to
EPCOT for a rainy day. Most of the country pavilions have ample space to hang out and explore while those Florida showers pass. When we are thinking about attractions, only Test Track is impacted by storms. If I am monitoring the radar with pending showers, I will head to the Land Pavilion to enjoy
Soarin' Over California (currently showing),
Living with the Land, and
Awesome Planet. Right next door is
The Seas with Nemo and Friends. As you finish this ride pick up your complimentary scavenger hunt booklet to help find Dory's friends at the aquarium. Also visit
Turtle Talk with Crush for a fun interactive short show.
I did consult with my husband on your question and he suggested visiting
Magic Kingdom Park for the many attractions that are located close together. There are also inside shows like
Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress and
The Hall of Presidents that offer safe refuge from the rain.
Bottom line, be prepared and go with the flow. Florida showers are usually quick to pop up and quick to stop. Have a magical vacation.
Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
